Meet Rikki Krochak
Rikki is a Registered Physiotherapist and Pelvic Floor Physiotherapist at Heritage Park Physical Therapy. After completing her Bachelor of Science Co-op degree in Kinesiology at the University of Waterloo, she pursued her Masters of Physical Therapy degree at Western University. Since graduating she has completed multiple continuing education courses to expand her skill set in acupuncture, pelvic floor physiotherapy, and paediatric care.
Individualized Treatment Plans
Rikki enjoys providing physiotherapy care to individuals of all ages to get them back to doing what they love. She has a special interest in pelvic floor health and paediatric care. Her passion for women’s health led her to pursue additional training in pelvic floor physiotherapy where she hopes to change the narrative around many symptoms being written off as ‘normal’. Her goal is to help clients with a variety of conditions such as pelvic pain, incontinence, pelvic organ prolapse, and pre/post pregnancy in understanding the function of their pelvic floor, and what they can do to reduce their symptoms and improve their quality of life. She also enjoys working with infants/children and their families to address musculoskeletal injuries, postural asymmetries (ex. Torticollis), and development of gross motor skills. She hopes to continue her education in these areas to best support her clients and improve their overall well-being.
Outside the Office
Outside of the clinic, she enjoys being active outdoors with her husband and dog Archie, as well as trying new recipes. Rikki is looking forward to helping you achieve your physiotherapy goals!
